While at this time I can't recommend this restaurant, we will try it again and update the review as necessary. Sadly I was forced to cover every thing with Choula Sauce to give the food flavor. Tortilla Flats is a Mexican restaurant located at 5716 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, Missouri 64119, US. The Mexican rice was over cooked and dry. My chicken burrito tasted like it was boiled chicken wrapped in a tortilla covered in cheese.
Food looked good, but lacked any seasoning. Orders were taken quickly and food was out quickly, leaving little time for conversation, or to watch the superman movie playing on the tv over the bar (no sound). Chips were standard restaurant fare but thick, with a good chunky salsa they would have been a hit. Chips and salsa were delivered quickly, we were immediately pleased the salsa was chunky, however the flavor was mostly tomato with very little seasoning of any kind. People that get motion sick easily might want to avoid that area. While waiting for service we were rocked everything someone passed by. We were seated fairly quickly in an area the was raised.
Restaurant was busy and we thought that was a good sign.
